Do I Need to Use Semicolons when I Code in Game Maker?

In Game Maker, when you code, you usually don't need semicolons at the end of lines. But there are some cases where you do need to put them in!

If you create a variable that is used only for one coding need, you put var in front of the variable you are declaring. Then you can go on and code away, right? No quite...

You have to put a semicolon after this line. If you don't, you'll get an error! (See above image)

When you place a semicolon after this line, there is no error! (See below image)

Keep that in mind!
